I have a power point presentation to do tomorrow infront of 10 to 20 people and infront of the hiring manager. I memorized what I need to say, my problem is when I stand infront of people to give a speach I choke up, my chest gets stiff and I can’t breath. I can’t walk around or hold any thing and I’m afraid I might forget my next line. What are some good tricks to help deal with this?

My first incarnation of the speech was going to be about how mass hysteria causes differences in description of encounters with strange creatures like the Jersey Devil of Mothman…

But that’d be too lengthy for a 5-7 minute speach and it doesn’t show how anything would work.

So any suggestions? And we’re being videotaped.
