how to conquer fear of public speaking?

I will be an older student in 50’s returning to college. There will be presentations that I will need to do in front of my classmates and professors.

I am pretty self conscious about my age, and I already have a fear of speaking in public. I am afraid I will shake like a tree in a hurricane and lose my leafs….any ideas to help?
