Career Path College Sophomore Crowd Fear Hardest Time Outgoing Person Public Relations Public Speaker Public Speaking Reason

I am a college sophomore studying Public Relations and although I consider myself an excellent writer, an outgoing person and extremely creative, I am not the best public speaker. I know those in P.R. are often required to address the press but is having a fear a public speaking enough of a reason to change my career path? I’m articulate but I have the hardest time not sounding like a fumbling mess when adressing a crowd. THANKS!

Ok so I was thinking about what kind of career I want. And I was thinking about being a public speaker. I would like to be someone who travels to high schools and places like that. To teach young kids about abstance and STD’s and things like that. Because teenagers are going to have sex no matter what you tell them. And I just want to help by giving them information about what they are doing. Is there any college to that? Or schooling outside of high school to do this? Please let me know is you can. Thank you.

I remember hearing someone say that former President Bill Clinton was an excellent public speaker and was persuasive, etc. I wonder what steps he took to become that kind of a speaker.
