How to get over public speaking?

My family is going to be on Dr. Phil because..well because my dad feels the need to broadcast our issues to the entire nation. Anyways. I agreed to go on only because it would be bennficial to several people. But I happen to be TERRIFIED of public speaking. Any tips on how to get over that?
